7.2.3
Total HSE
To lower occupational hazard and risks, CTCI complies by
legal regulations and implements management system, and
at the same time, the Company has set up a comprehensive
safety, health, and environmental risk assessment procedure.
We constantly require each responsible unit to carry out
the evaluation procedures to identify and to effectively
manage high-risk hazards to lower the chances of them from
happening. Moreover, we are highly aware of the fact that
safety, health, and environmental-friendly work environment
relies on the joint effort of all Company staff, and given
the significant roles that "people" play in building a safe
culture, we have expanded safety, health, and environmental
protection to all employees. Hence we have proposed
Total HSE Evaluation. The purpose of which is to allow all
Company employees, especially those whose positions do
not involve these measures, and departmental supervisors
and project managers, to learn and accumulate the correct
safety, health, and environmental protection knowledge and
to familiarize requirements in these aspects that are relevant
to their own work. In order to guide employees to carry out
safe action and attitude, from mid-year in 2013 to 2015, we
have conducted various safety, health, and environmental
assessment according to different targets and their roles,
including different versions for managers (departmental
supervisors and project managers), PXM (PEM/PPM/PSM/
PKM), construction engineers, and everyone in the company.
Assessment is conducted as an online test, and the types
of questions are classified as Commitment to Safety, Basic
Knowledge, and Implementations. Besides continuing to
conduct the aforementioned assessment, we will also analyze
and compile the results from each assessment, and report our
findings during safety, health, and environmental evaluation
meetings. Furthermore, the assessment results will be used
as reference for relevant training or reinforced promotions,
in order to enhance everyone's core values in safety, health,
and environmental protection.
