Vision and Policy
The quality of a project should be established on the
foundation of the safety and health of employees,
contractors, clients, and the environment. Hence,
while expanding our business scope, CTCI is also
focused on constructing a safe work environment and
on offering the best engineering projects in terms of
both labor and quality. To enhance the stringent quality
of engineering, our teams would hold construction
review meeting for the duration of a project, in which
we would track and monitor the engineering quality
of partner firms. Items of evaluation include project
progress, challenges faced, problems in quality and
in safety, health, and environment, work allocations,
multidisciplinary negotiations, the arrangement of
workflow in equipment and machinery in various plants,
and proposals for improvements etc. Through the
daily review meeting, our project teams could instantly
deal with and handle major problems to avoid delays
in progress. And given that false alarms are important
indicators in potential risk, we could utilize our safety,
health, and environment management system to track
the false alarms in both the Company and projects
and undertake corrective measures. Moreover, we
also promote onsite Behavior-Based Safety behavioral
safety management to observe and record unsafe
actions and conditions onsite.
CTCI's safety, health, and environment policy places
priority on the insistence of safety, and offers safe and secure
work environment. In Company operations and executions
of projects, we strive to achieve zero work-related injuries.
To promote the health and benefits of our staff, the Company
actively promotes workplace voluntary health management
to strengthen physiological and mental health protection
and caring, in order to construct a healthy work environment
and to promote both physiological and mental well-being.
In terms of implementing risk management mechanisms, we
identify, evaluate and handle the potential safety, health, and
environmental risks during operations, prevent work-related
injuries and environmental pollutions, and we also continue
to enhance our overall performance in terms of safety, health,
and the environment. Finally, we will continue to evaluate
and optimize various safety, health, and environmental
activities, ensure that the safety, health, and environmental
management system is healthy and feasible and enhance its
validity, appropriateness, and effectiveness.
