In terms of prevention for occupational
diseases, CTCI employees' primary dangers lay
in working for prolonged hours and on taking
business trips. Through discussing with onsite
doctors and referencing health checkup reports
for the past 5 years, our Healthcare Center has
undertaken a "Prevention Against Diseases
from Overwork" plan to safeguard workers'
health for problems related to high blood
sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol as well
as metabolism problems. In this plan, nurses
must routinely select employees to follow
up based on healthcare management data
according to levels of health. HR Department
will offer hours of overtime, and nurses will
calculate risks of cardiovascular diseases in
employees according to annual checkup data.
Subsequently, the onsite doctors will conduct
healthcare consulting and provide suggestions
for adjustments in work for those employees
that need to be followed up with. Safety, Health,
and Environmental Management Unit will
also assist in environmental risk evaluation if
necessary.
