Energy Utilization and Performance
Electricity was the form of energy consumed the
most at CTCI's headquarters. Construction sites mostly
consume gasoline and diesel. In 2015, the combined
electricity consumption of the CTCI headquarters
and construction sites was 11,600,081 kWh, and the
combined gasoline and diesel consumption was
1,545,716 liters. To enhance the performance of
energy management, the company has continuously
monitored all energy management performance
indicators. The performance is compiled annually and
reported to the President. The purpose is to facilitate
the formulation and implementation of relevant policies
and to serve as reference for future carbon reduction
and energy-saving goals, contributing to the vision of
low-carbon development. In 2015, because the amount
of construction increased, energy consumption at
construction sites increased as a result, leading to
the company's inability to achieve the absolute goal.
However, in all energy management performance
indicators reached the predetermined strength
objective, showing that CTCI continued to improve in
terms of energy efficiency.
