CTCI strives to achieve legal compliance, and we seek for
talents through various recruitment channels and will continue
to hire more aborigines and mentally/physically-challenged
individuals. In terms of recruiting for aborigines, we offer
students part-time work and internship opportunities through
university and collegiate aboriginal student resource centers;
we recruit through the Council of Indigenous People's iwork
recruitment website, and we collaborate with the Aboriginal
Youth Employment Plan. In terms of recruiting for physically
and mentally-challenged individuals, we offer physically
disabled job positions through the Taipei City Foreign and
Disabled Labor Office, and have hired visually-impaired
professional massage therapists in March 2016, in order to
provide stress-relief for our colleagues. In the last three years,

the average recruitment ratio for aborigines had been 0.46%,
and 0.85% for physically and mentally challenged individuals
(53% of whom serve in lower- or mid-level supervisory roles),
and neither has reached the 1% employment ratio required
by the law. Hence, to address the current condition of under-
employment, besides paying compensations to regulatory
institutions, we have also established the Procedures for
Rewarding Company Employee in order to encourage
our colleagues to recommend aboriginal and mentally
and physically challenged individuals to join us. During
the implementation period of these Procedures, the HR
Department would record the number of vacancies and offer
suggestions to the management, and the Procedures would
be announced and implemented.
