We cohosted the "Eat-Well at Year-End" event together with
Homeless Organization, Genesis Social Welfare Foundation,
and Huashan Social Welfare Foundation in the hopes of
providing warmth to the homeless, single mothers in need of
assistance, and senior citizens residing alone through a get-
together dinner at year-end in spite of the cold, wintry season.
Number of personnel/days devoted into the event: 63 persons/
days; and total dollar amount had been NTD 36,895.

As for assisting the underprivileged groups, we invite social
welfare groups and foundations to participate in charity
sales from time to time, and we have developed a long-
term partnership with these nonprofit groups. In year 2015,
CTCI devoted 574 working hours, and NTD 4,198,309 into
facilitating the underprivileged groups.

Actions taken to encourage academic research include hosting
seminars, sharing practical engineering experiences, promoting
the exchange of ideas pertaining to relevant laws, and inviting
experts from all industries within Taiwan to discuss issues about
the BOT system in Taiwan. Whenever one of our colleagues
publishes research study externally, he/she could also apply for
financial aid. In year 2015, CTCI devoted 1,758 working hours and
NTD 200,000 toward promoting academic research.

We have participated in the Zhishan Cultural and Ecological
Garden for five consecutive years and cohosted and sponsored
the Shilin cutural event - the "Zhishan Scenic and Shilin Cultural
Festival" under the guidance from the Ministry of Culture and the
Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government. In year
2015, the total number of performers, those had preregistered,
and the number of actual turnout had been 593, 2,229, and 3,938
individuals respectively.

Long-term talent enhancement plans, including
establishing internship program and planning corporate
visits and scholarships. In year 2015, CTCI devoted
6,204 working hours and NTD 1,207,465 toward talent
enhancement.
Active participation in relevant nonprofit organizations and
serve in director and/or supervisor roles in these groups to
contribute toward the promotion of these groups. In year 2015,
CTCI devoted NTD 1,792,050 toward the operations of these
organizations.
